Developed using PHP and MySQL, Terong Alumni Database will help you organize all alumni records from registering, verifying data and make the email address invisible from spammers while visitor can send private message to email address recorded in the system. All data will be verified before it is published on the web site to prevent wrong email address to be listed. Search feature allow visitors to perform queries based on their own criteria. Both in High School and University version of this application, they can search alumni by name, city, state or country of living, the differences are in the High School version they can also search by graduated year from junior or senior, while in University version also can search by enrolled year, graduated year and major. Users registered can update their own data as long as their email address is still valid. If they forget the password, the system can send it to the email address registered without the help of administrator.
If you understand PHP and MySQL, with a small modification, this application also can be used to manage your own contact address book. In password protected area, administrator can download the database for backup purpose.
